Rosewood is a grande dame in the London heritage hotel scene, and Christmas lunch at this institution is a very special thing indeed. Dine in the beautiful Mirror Room on a four-course spread, including seared Scottish scallops, organic roast Norfolk turkey, and Christmas pudding with cognac custard. £195 per person.

For a modern take on a classic Christmas feast, book a spot at award-winning chef David Burke’s Tavern62. The warm, masculine interiors make for a cosy festive day, and the team will be serving a prix-fixe menu starring a special Christmas spiced beef and roasted lobster steak. US$85 per person.
