A Light of Hope: How Alila Bangsar is Helping Underprivileged Children

With this year’s fall-out from the global pandemic, the spirit of helping each other is more important than ever. And you can help to make a difference too.

In support of empowering underprivileged children, as part of their “A Light of Hope” initiative, Alila Bangsar is collaborating with social enterprise Havan Clothing to raise funds for The Havan Program.

Both Alila and Havan Clothing share a similar belief that educating children should focus on their IQ as well as their emotional intelligence (EQ). The Havan Program supports underprivileged children with Art classes, where each child is encouraged to express themself through art and has their own masterpiece produced by Havan Clothing into a quality apparel.

Through this collaboration, Alila Bangsar aims to raise funds for 60 children from four shelter homes and invites you to stay at their hotel. For every direct booking made until 2nd January 2022, you will receive a Havan T-shirt designed by the children and a contribution from your stay will be made to the Havan Program. You can also buy the T-shirts at the hotel’s reception on Level 41, even after the campaign has ended.
