#Arivenchy: The House of Givenchy Gets a New Face
Ariana Grande will front Givenchy’s autumn/winter 2019 campaign, playfully dubbed #Arivenchy, the brand announced. “It is with great excitement that the House of Givenchy reveals its new face – a strong, independent woman of refreshing character and style: the multi-talented Ariana Grande,” Givenchy wrote in a statement.
A modern muse and the voice of a generation, Grande has emerged as one of the most influential forces in pop culture today. A Grammy award-winning performer, songwriter and singer, she naturally embodies the spirit of the Givenchy woman with impertinence, generosity and a lightning wit – all cloaked in a touch of mystery.
In the short black-and-white clip, the luxury French fashion house styled the 25-year-old pop star after one of its original muses, Audrey Hepburn. Hepburn had shared a muse-designer relationship with the house’s founder Hubert de Givenchy for decades.

Grande can be seen in a pearl-embellished headband and Givenchy’s iconic black cross-back dress as worn by Hepburn in the opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Not much else can be seen or hear, except for Grande flicking her signature high ponytail and humming a tune in the background.
“I am so proud to be the new face of Givenchy. It is a House I have forever admired and to now be part of that family is such an honour. I love this clothing and the confidence and joy it brings to the people wearing it. Not only is the clothing timeless and beautiful but I’m proud to work with a brand that makes people feel celebrated for who they are, and unapologetic about whatever they want to be,” Grande said in a statement.
The full Givenchy Fall-Winter 2019 campaign starring Ariana Grande will be unveiled in July.
