Watch: First ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Trailer
[Updated] The full Crazy Rich Asians trailer is finally here. Co-stars Henry Golding and Constance Wu were on The Ellen Show to debut the clip for the upcoming film.
Crazy Rich Asians is also the first Hollywood film in 25 years to have an all-Asian cast. The last was The Joy Luck Club in 1993.
Golding wrote on Instagram: It’s here ladies and gentlemen, the trailer is finally out there for the world to see. “Do what you can to spread the word, repost, follow, share, stuff it in your friends face annoyingly the whole day… Do what you can!”
You heard the man. Also watch their interview with Ellen below.

Stop what you’re doing and watch the first teaser for Crazy Rich Asians.
It’s a cruelly short look at how Rachel Chu, played by Constance Wu, gets her first taste of the world her boyfriend Nicholas Young is from. UNRESERVED April cover star Henry Golding plays Nicholas, who jokes that he’s more of the Prince Harry of Asia than a William. Cheeky. And to think Golding almost turned down the role!
It’s been a CRAaazy long wait, but it’s almost here! @wbpictures and director @jonmchu are proud to present the official trailer for #CrazyRichAsians, dropping on MONDAY! pic.twitter.com/FOevPjhH7P

Alas, this is but a teaser to the full trailer that’s coming out on Monday 23 April, and then there’s another four-month wait (who even has the patience?) until the film reaches cinemas on 16 August 2018. Godspeed to us all.
