Rolls-Royce has taken a step further with their Whispers app to up their game and offer the bespoke service they’re well known for. With lockdowns around the world and the inability for clients to travel to the Home of Rolls-Royce, in Goodwood, West Sussex due to COVID-19 restrictions, many expressed their wish to maintain their close contact with the brand.

To meet these requests, head of Whispers Verena Masters stepped up to the challenge and developed several new features for the app. With written dialogue already available via the popular community messaging function, Masters only needed to establish a video feature to allow face-to-face interactions between users of the app and Rolls-Royce.

A comprehensive suite of online live video options enables real-time communication with the marque’s executives, product experts and craftspeople. Not only is communication at a touch of a button, clients can even choose to view their car live while it’s being put together on the production line at Rolls-Royce’s manufactory. 

With the launch of the new Ghost, there has been a rise in demand for this service. One can obtain one-on-one live consultations with Rolls-Royce specialists and designers for detailed and personal product insights, which enable remote commissioning to take place. It’s really and up close and personal take on ensuring your vehicle receives your love every step of the way since you can choose materials and colours, down to its bespoke details.

If you choose to, you can look for inspiration in the Luxury Intelligence Unit, which is part of the Whispers app. Topics available range from the forefront of moving-image art, guidance on how to cultivate a woodland, and even the philanthropic endeavours of other Whispers members.

 

 

The app is not just centered around cars. The Whispers Concierge is where you can have items on your must-have list sourced for you worldwide. Want signed first edition Harry Potter books? Done. Want to score a limited edition Chanel bag? Easy. Been wanting to get your hands on a pair of  Yeezy Boost 380’s? That won’t be a problem. All you have to do is submit your request.

Whispers also doubles as a virtual exhibition room because you can showcase your automotive collections to be admired by fellow Rolls-Royce enthusiasts around the world. And yes, you can even look up a member if you wish to discuss business or dine at the next Michelin star restaurant, via the app by typing in their name, location or even car. It’s like Facebook but Rolls-Royce-centric and much more luxurious.
