How Singapore Tourism Board and Zouk are Reinventing Virtual Parties
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) collaborates with the legendary Zouk Singapore nightclub to introduce avid clubbers to Zouk Phuturescapes.
It’s a series of virtual parties to be held globally during the last weekend of May. STB and Zouk are taking virtual parties to the next level by engaging audiences at home through a curated line-up of local and international DJs and musicians, as well as innovative technology elements including augmented reality filters and 3D virtual backgrounds.

International headliners include American DJ, Diplo and British DJ, Christina Novelli. On the local front, influential artists such as Zouk’s resident DJs LeNERD and Che’Molly, as well as DJ KoFlow, rapper Yung Raja and singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko will perform, showcasing Singapore’s diverse music scene locally and to the rest of the world.
The parties will be hosted by Singaporean favourites, rapper ShiGGa Shay and model-presenter Hanli Hoefer.

The collaboration between STB and Zouk are attuned to the changes in the consumption of entertainment and nightlife. Both parties are keen to push boundaries and pioneer new concepts amidst COVID-19.
Zouk Group Chief Executive Officer Andrew Li said, “The support of the Singapore Tourism Board has provided us with the opportunity to further elevate our virtual parties to showcase Singapore’s entertainment and nightlife scene to a global audience. Through Phuturescapes, we hope to unite our global community on a safe and readily accessible platform for all to tune in, dance along together, engage with one another, and collectively look forward to the day guests from around the world can be welcomed into the club again.”
Phuturescapes will kick off in the United States on 29 May, followed by Asia and Australia on 30 May, and the United Kingdom on 31 May.
So note that a limited amount of 1,000 guests can register for each party, hosted on video conferencing platform Zoom. The parties will also be streamed live on both brands’ Facebook and YouTube pages.
