Longines Conquest Classic
Perfect for today’s modern women, Longines’ latest Conquest Classic collection remains true to the brand’s iconic elegance. Their new line of beauties is resolutely feminine and boldly contemporary. Available in two sizes and some featuring diamonds, the steel case of the new Conquest Classic houses a quartz movement and offers five different dials including sunray blue, sunray black, sunray silver, white mother-of-pearl and black mother-of-pearl. The dial is completed with either pink indexes or diamonds and this timepiece is mounted on a steel bracelet for added finesse.
Bell & Ross BR05
Bell & Ross’ latest BR05 collection boasts a resolutely urban look and feel, but remains faithful to the brand’s watchwords of legibility, functionality, reliability and precision. To put it simply, BR05 is the brand’s vision of luxury sports watches, which makes it the perfect time-measuring instrument for urban explorers. It is fitted with an integrated steel bracelet with a tapered profile, relatively thin case and a simple time-and-date display and are available either with a satin-polished steel bracelet or with a ribbed rubber strap for a truly stylish alternative. An 18-carat rose gold version of the case completes the first chapter of this new story.
Rado True Thinline Les Couleurs™ Le Corbusier
Meet Rado’s latest release, the True Thinline Les Couleurs™ Le Corbusier. This exclusive collection of high-tech ceramic watches pays tribute to Le Corbusier’s legendary Architectural Polychromy colour theory. It is classified into nine distinct groups of shades and tones, representing architectural significance to create space and depth. The palettes are still widely used today by architects and designers. The watches are produced in limited editions of 999 pieces per colour, each with a special case back design that includes all 63 colours. Every piece is durable, scratch-resistant, light and comfortable to wear thanks to the full high-tech ceramic construction and the brand’s pioneering monobloc case construction.
Grand Seiko and Credor Timepieces
Watch connoisseurs will be thrilled to learn that Credor masterpieces are now officially available in Malaysia for the first time. The brand’s debut in the country coincided with the grand opening of the Seiko boutique by AWG Fine Watches in Mid Valley Megamall. The launch showcased iconic limited-edition Grand Seiko timepieces like the SBGK005, which is part of the Elegance Collection. Limited to only 1,500 pieces in the world, the dress wristwatch Grand Seiko SBGK005 employs a new exciting hand-wound movement (caliber 9S63) since its last introduction in 2011. Credor unveiled its Masterpiece Collection that embodies the spirit of Japanese culture and reflects the sensibilities of the Japanese people.
Omega Seamaster Diver
Omega’s limited edition 42mm Seamaster Diver 300M in stainless steel features a black PVD on a black ceramic dial with a spiral-brushed gun barrel design and a bullet head at the centre. If the design reminds you of a certain famous spy, then you are spot on with that particular reference. 18K yellow gold has been used to create the hands and indexes, including the index at 12 o’clock which is inspired by the James Bond family coat-of-arms. Omega also has the gold plate engraved with each timepiece’s unique limited-edition number. There are only 7,007 pieces available. Here’s a fun fact: on the seventh day of each month, the number 7 on the date window uses the same font as the 007 logos, and there is also a hidden ‘‘50’’ on the 10 o’clock index which appears by night as a secret signature within the Super-LumiNova.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon
Jaeger-LeCoultre captures the essence of the moon in its latest timepiece, Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon. Paying tribute to feminine strength and beauty, the La Grande Maison’s emblematic moon phase function is featured in a stunning new setting. It is the most recently introduced Dazzling Rendez-Vous models, following the introduction of the Dazzling Day & Night, and white gold Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon at the Shanghai International Film Festival earlier this year. This work of art comprises 108 diamonds forming two concentric rings around the watch case. Designed to maximise the presence of each stone, the setting allows light to pass through the diamonds from every angle, while minimising the visible metal. The dazzling bracelet that sparkles with 22.27 carats of diamonds is truly a masterpiece of jewellery craft.
