RIMOWA and Porsche Launch their Limited-Edition Collector's Case
In the age of luxury ‘collabs’, German power brands RIMOWA and Porsche combined their strengths to create Pepita, the RIMOWA x Porsche Hand-Carry.
The special, and extremely limited, edition celebrates the formidable legacies of both brands through its design, functionality and performance. Inspired by the first generation Porsche 911 and designed with RIMOWA’s signature grooved aluminium, the hand-carry is an expression of both brands’ iconic design elements.
The cases’s inside boasts a zipped U-pocket and an X-strap resembling a seatbelt to keep belongings secure in transit. Houndstooth Pepita fabric, black leather accents, an imprinted Porsche crest, and a yellow instructional label similar to that found in a Porsche trunk complete the 911-inspired aesthetic.
Since there are only 911 (!) cases available, worldwide, Pepita is bound to be treasured by collectors and design aficionados. The case is going on sale on April 21st and is available at select RIMOWA stores, Porsche dealerships or via shop.porsche.com. Separately there is also a sticker set available.
