Zac Efron To Star In Remake of Three Men And A Baby
If you’ve been wondering what hottie Zac Efron has been up to, wonder no longer. He is set to be cast in Disney+’s remake of Three Men and a Baby. This marks Efron’s return to Disney, where he first shot to fame in the High School Musical franchise
The original movie, which was based on the 1985 French film Trois hommes et un couffin (Three Men and a Cradle), starred Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson as three New York bachelors who find themselves caring for the infant daughter of Danson’s character Jack, while trying to extricate themselves from a mix-up with drug dealers and the police. The hit comedy was directed by Leonard Nimoy. A sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady, was subsequently released in 1990.

The Disney+ remake will be scripted by Will Reichel, while Gordon Gray (The Rookie, Secretariat, The Way Back) will produce. It’s still early days as no director has been named for the project yet, nor have details about Efron’s role emerged.
Efron has been laying low with a few film projects here and there. Taking on a myriad of roles to expand his acting repertoire, he starred in the remake of Baywatch and the huge success The Greatest Showman in 2017. In 2019 he got gritty in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile as serial killer Ted Bundy, and his most recent project, the Netflix series, Down to Earth with Zac Efron, saw him travel the world with self-proclaimed wellness guru Darin Olien, exploring healthy, sustainable lifestyle choices.
